This is the automated crawler operated by Legisail, a legislative-monitoring service for Canadian businesses. It makes read-only requests for public legislative data — bill progress, sponsors, and full text — from Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial legislature websites, and turns them into alerts and plain-language summaries that link back to the official source.

Purpose

Read-only collection of public bills (progress, sponsors, text) to power monitoring, alerts, and summaries. It does not submit forms, log in, or perform any write action, and it does not use content to train AI models.

Crawl rate

Low — on the order of a handful of requests per site per day. Bill lists are checked about once a day; each jurisdiction is only tens of bills.
