This Ontario bill amends the Health Protection and Promotion Act to make the Chief Medical Officer of Health an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly rather than a government appointee, establishes new procedures for appointment, removal, and term limits, and requires a select committee to be formed during public health emergencies to advise and receive advice from the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

This Ontario bill amends the Ticket Sales Act, 2017 to cap the resale price of tickets on the secondary market at no more than 50% above the ticket's original face value, including fees and service charges but excluding taxes.
