About 1.2 million small businesses that use stamps for mailing will see their annual postage costs rise by an estimated $42.17 on average, based on a typical annual spend of around $209.59 on stamps — though businesses that mail heavily will feel a bigger hit. The single-stamp price jumps from $1.15 to $1.44, booklet stamps go from $0.99 to $1.24, Registered Mail climbs from $10.50 to $13.15, and U.S. and international letter rates rise similarly. Businesses mailing to the U.S. or internationally will see those rates increase by roughly 25% as well. Old stamps at the previous rate can still be used to send mail posted before January 13, 2025, and top-up stamps will be available for those with leftover stock.
