Bill 160: Clear Grocery Pricing Act

This bill affects grocery retailers and food merchants in Nova Scotia — think your typical supermarket, corner store, or specialty food shop that sells packaged or fresh food products for home consumption. Restaurants are explicitly excluded. Day-to-day operations like shelf labeling, flyer design, point-of-sale displays, and loyalty program pricing signage will all need to comply with new formatting and disclosure rules.
