Bill 91: Right to Repair Act, 2025

This bill most directly affects manufacturers and suppliers of consumer electronics, home appliances, farm equipment, cars, mobility devices, and recreational vehicles sold in Ontario, as well as independent repair shops that service these products. Manufacturers and brand owners will need to make repair manuals, schematics, diagnostic software, parts, and specialized tools available to any consumer or repair business that requests them — within 30 days and for at least 7 years after a product is last manufactured.
